What Are The SBV Summer Camps?
Sporting Blue Valley runs four different summer camps out of our headquarters at SBV HQ: Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex - built to cover ages 4 through 19, every skill level, and every kind of player.
Whether your kiddo just wants to kick a ball around with friends for a few mornings, your U10 is chasing a Premier spot in August, or your player wants an extra four days in front of our tryout coaches… we've got the camp for you.

Why Camp With Sporting BV?
Midwest weather means it's usually too hot to run a summer league in Kansas without cancelling too often, so summer camps are the next-best option to fill the season with soccer.
SBV Camps are low-commitment, fun, and simple programs.

Play With Friends
We're grateful to have such strong Premier and Recreational pools of players, which means we always have enough campers to group players by age and skill level appropriate for them. Your 1st grader will not be playing with a 5th grader. Plus, your player can request friends and we'll do our best to place them together.
Stay Busy This Summer
Instead of staying at home on the screen, SBV Camps give you a chance to have a break for 2-3 hours in the morning for almost a week, and your son or daughter stays busy without a screen.
A Non-Profit Mission
SBV is a 501(c)(3). Every dollar goes back into programs, scholarships, and our free T.E.A.M.Soccer program for special-needs players.

Ages 4–6 • Boys & Girls
Mini Kickers Camp
Fun, friendly, and run by SBV Pro Staff. SBV Mini Kickers is all about learning through games, activity and staying active. For players of all skill levels.
SBV Mini Kickers is a 2-hour morning camp built specifically for 4–6 year olds. Whether they've never touched a ball before, or they're ready to sharpen the skills they've already started picking up in Rec. Each session walks players through a fun warm-up, individual skill development (dribbling, shooting, passing, receiving, juggling) and finishes with small-sided games that make everything click.
It's coached by our SBV Pro Staff, held on our home fields at the Scheels OP Soccer Complex, and built to be the kind of morning your littles will actually ask to go back to tomorrow.
Plus, it gets them off the screens and out of the house for two hours every morning.
Ages 7–14 • Boys & Girls
SBV Stars Camp
A step up. For players who've outgrown beginner camps and want to be pushed.
Sporting BV Stars Camp is our main summer event. It's a full-featured summer camp for boys and girls ages 7–14, at every skill level from Rec to Premier.
Your player will spend 4 days progressing through the same curriculum our directors use during the club season: technical work, small-sided games, scrimmages, and position play — all at the intensity level their age and ability demand.
Stars Camp is coached by SBV Pro Staff, made up of SBV Premier coaches and assistants.
Your player will be grouped by age and skill level.
U8-U19 • Competitive Boys & Girls
Pre-Tryout Camp
Four extra days in front of the decision-making coaches. Before Tryout Weekend even begins.
This is SBV's most-talked-about, and most popular camp by registration. The Pre-Tryout Camp is a 4-day session two weeks before SBV Premier Tryouts, built around our directors' "SBV Hyper Scout 2.0 Method" — a curriculum engineered to show our coaches what your player is really capable of in real game situations (not just drills).
Since we can offer your player on June 5, and this camp runs June 1-4, we can pencil you in during the camp and offer you as soon as Friday morning comes around.
So you can lock in a spot on Friday morning before tryouts even happen.
And it's open to all U8–U19 players — SBV or not, Premier or not.

U8-U19 • Boys & Girls
Goalkeeper Camp
The most unique position on the pitch deserves the most specialized training.
The Goalkeeper position is the most important position on the field.
Which is why they are always in demand for our Premier teams and at clubs across the nation.
Sporting BV Goalkeeper Camp is run by US-Soccer licensed goalkeeper coaches, and curriculum is built by National-Title-winning coach Shawn Forcellini.
Your player gets an hour every morning with these coaches, running drills, playing minigames, and improving all the most important aspects of the position: footwork, agility, reaction time, distribution, cross-handling, 1v1s...all covered in this camp.
And you don't have to be an expert GK to attend! It's open to all players U8-U19.

All camps run out of SCHEELS Overland Park Soccer Complex, SBV's HQ. 12+ fields, turf and grass, covered shade, the works.
3 - SELECT YOUR CAMP
SBV is the biggest club in KC. We don't have to string together strangers — your player can request friends and we'll do our best to place them together.
4 - COMPLETE REGISTRATION
From Rec to Juniors Academy to Premier to MLS Next / ECNL to SKC Academy and college. Every camp plugs your player into that pipeline.

All Sporting BV camps are held on Field #1 and #4 of the Scheels OP Soccer Complex, which means they are limited - especially when we have more than one camp running at a time.
So if you are interested, reserve your spot today before camps close. Our last 2-day Camp had 112 players on Day 1 and 101 players on Day 2.
